The Riverside Philharmonic’s next concert in late October will feature music ripped from scary movies and shows.

The Halloween-themed performance is called “Thrillers … from Screen to Stage.”

It’s scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Riverside City College’s Coil School for the Arts, 3890 University Ave., Riverside.

Tomasz Golka will lead the orchestra through music from classic movies such as “Psycho” and “Vertigo.” It also will play other seasonal selections, including the overture from Broadway’s “The Phantom of the Opera.”
