The mystery surrounding the death of a teenage girl found in the boot of a car belonging to popular musician D4vd has deepened after it was revealed her decomposing body had been there “for several weeks” before it was found.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found on September 8 — one day after her 15th birthday — in a black Tesla towed to a Hollywood impound, with police called after reports of a foul odour.

The car was registered to the 20-year-old singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, and was traced back to a Hollywood Hills rental where he had been living.

Celeste, who had a history of running away from her home and was rumoured to be in a relationship with D4vd, had been missing for more than a year. Her body was handed back to her grieving parents on September 23.
