Ellie Gomez score the lone goal in Neptune’s 1-0 victory over Ranney in Neptune.

Following a scoreless first half, Gomez scored the go-ahead goal off an assist by Madison Elli s. Neptune controlled the field, outshooting Ranney 15-8.

Meghan Rogers recorded eight saves.

Neptune (4-4-1) will travel to Central Regional on Wednesday, while Ranney (4-5) will visit Manalapan, No. 20 in the NJ.com Top 20, on Tuesday.
