EL CAJON, Calif. — A five-year-old boy from El Cajon, California, has been identified as a child genius, with an IQ score of over 160 and membership in Mensa, the high-IQ society.
Gabriel Valdez, who has already skipped two grade levels, demonstrates exceptional abilities in math, reading, languages, and several academic subjects.

"I know I am a genius," said Gabriel, who began reading at the age of two and can speak four languages, including English, German, Spanish, and Mandarin.
Gabriel's parents, Adrian and Aliantha Valdez, first noticed their son's extraordinary capabilities during the COVID-19 lockdown when he was still an infant.
