The incident reportedly took place earlier this month. For the first time since the allegations surfaced, Leonard addressed the issue publicly during the team’s media day. When asked by ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne about the controversial contract, Leonard firmly rejected the idea that there was anything shady about it.
