Residents of the Adams Hill neighborhood in South Glendale were shaken after a series of hate symbols appeared throughout their community over the weekend.

On Sunday morning, Glendale police responded to a report that an unknown suspect had drawn a swastika in chalk on a resident’s driveway, according to the Glendale Police Department. Officers who canvassed the area found several more swastikas on both private and public property.

Later that evening, around 7:30 p.m., police were called to another incident, where a swastika had been drawn on a fire hydrant on the 800 block of E. Palmer Avenue.
