Family members have identified a Navy veteran as one of four people killed in an attack at Grand Blanc Township church .

John Bond was described as a "loving husband, father and grandfather" on a Gofundme page , where loved ones are raising money to finance a memorial service and support his family.

The legitimacy of the online fundraiser has been verified by Gofundme. A spokesperson for the organization said the Bond effort is currently the only verified fundraiser related to the church shooting. The other victims of Sunday's attack have not been publicly identified.

Bond, 77, was a father of six and grandfather of 10 who served in Vietnam, according to a WJBK-TV (Fox2) report .
