Clayton County Public Schools held its second Let’s Talk Literacy forum Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Forest Park High School. The evening celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and highlighted oral language development as a key step toward strong reading skills. The forum featured remarks from CCPS Senior Deputy Superintendent Douglas Hendrix, The Rollins Center Executive Director Comer Yates, parent Elisa Cortez Everett (who has two children in CCPS) and B.C.
