Kristin Chenoweth is already going to appear in NBC’s new comedy series Stumble and now she’s working on another series for the network!
The Tony-winning and Emmy-winning actress is developing a new church choir comedy series for NBC, according to Deadline .
The untitled sitcom, written by Call Me Kat ‘s Alissa Neubauer , will follow “Mary ( Chenoweth ) who is required to complete community service as the director of a local church choir where she’ll be dragged kicking, screaming and singing toward redemption.”
Deadline reports that this series was sold to NBC before she was cast in Stumble , but it just has taken a long time to negotiate the deal.
The series won’t be airing anytime soon because Kristin is about to launch her new Broadway musical The Queen of Versaill
