Neighbours in Stockport are demanding changes on a road where speeding vehicles are causing danger.
A total of 60 people have signed a petition calling for new anti-speeding measures on George Lane (A627) in Bredbury, a residential street in a neighbourhood based to the east of Stockport town centre.
They are asking Stockport council to install a new speed camera or ‘take other appropriate measures’ to sort out the issues with cars going over the 30mph speed limit on the road.

The petition stated: ‘Vehicles going significantly above the speed limit on George Lane are an ongoing issue that residents have been raising with the council for years.
