Berhampur Police have uncovered a large-scale fraud in the Odisha Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination, detaining over 100 candidates suspected of involvement.

The operation unfolded after a tip-off led authorities to Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district, where several aspirants were intercepted en route to Hyderabad.

According to sources, the detained individuals were allegedly being transported by a private organization responsible for exam logistics, which is now under scrutiny for facilitating cheating. The candidates were reportedly heading to Hyderabad to engage in fraudulent activities related to the SI exam.
