LOGAN – A packed-house crowd of old, young and just plain curious Utahns turned out to see and hear the Red Hot Chili Piper s perform at the Ellen Eccles Theatre on Sept. 29.
Two hours later, after an assault on both eyes and ears, the same crowd left the theatre having been transformed into “bagrock” addicts – rock music performed with bagpipes.
That said, bagpipes played the way that the Red Hot Chili Pipers play them are definitely an acquired taste.
