(WJW) -- The last day of September will be the last unseasonably warm day before temperatures briefly return to near normal for a few days. Highs on Tuesday will range from the mid to upper 70s along the lake to well into the 80s for places well inland.

The weather looks great for playoff baseball this week! Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Tigers is on Tuesday. Here’s a look at the forecast for the series:

Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will only be in the lower 70s. Lows will dip into the 40s across much of the area Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Expect little to no rain over the next 7-10 days.

The next front doesn’t arrive until next Tuesday/Wednesday.
