The attorney for former U.S. Attorney and ex-Suffolk DA Rachael Rollins, who’s facing “public discipline” from the state bar, is calling the board’s process “perplexing.”
Rollins, who resigned as U.S. Attorney in 2023 amid two federal reports that found she abused her position, has “disciplinary proceedings pending,” according to a posting by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
But it’s unclear what alleged offense triggered the disciplinary proceedings, or what disciplinary action Rollins may be facing.
Rollins’ lawyer, who also represents the Herald, issued a statement about the discipline proceedings on Monday.
