Kalaburagi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived at Kalaburagi Airport on Saturday and held a preliminary review meeting with officials regarding the damage caused by floods in villages along the Bhima river.

District officials and in-charge secretaries from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir and Vijayapura districts were present at the airport and provided detailed updates on the situation.

Following the review, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Ministers M.B. Patil, Krishna Byre Gowda and Priyank Kharge, undertook the first round of an aerial survey of the affected areas.

Later in the afternoon, around 2:30 pm, Siddaramaiah is scheduled to carry out a second aerial survey focusing on crop losses across Bidar district.
