The 2025 Major League Baseball playoffs are finally here!

Despite an epic collapse during the waning days of the regular season, the Detroit Tigers find themselves in the postseason for the second-straight year. However, instead of entering the playoffs as the American League Central champions — a division they once held by 15.5 games — the Motor City Kitties snuck in with the sixth seed and final wild card spot.

The Tigers and 11 other teams remain alive, and all will be battling for the coveted World Series title. But only one will emerge victoriously at the end of this road.
