The El Rancho Chico Golf Club held a 4-Man, Shamble format for its monthly tournament, and there was some unprecedented excitement on the second hole.

The field was divided into two flights, each player being required to hit at least one tee shot on both the front and back nine, but with a limitation of four. White Tee flight: 1, Shawn Anderson, Ryon Kurth, Matt Long and Jason Roberts, 112; 2, Adam Almond, Chas Gower, Ron Serna and Jimmy Smith, 121; 3, Matt Ferguson, Pete Huru, Todd Martin and Miles Teagarden, 124, card-off; 4, Jacob Miller, Rusty Stevens, Zack Suttles and Steve Vance, 124. Yellow tee flight: 1, Tony Allspaugh, Ed Anderson, Ben Heerema and Jeff Nedved, 122; 2, Bill Allen, Bob Bell, Mike Bell and Rich Nixon, 126; 3, Randy Cook, Lloyd Hightower, Cliff Kitayama and Rob Sylve
