How do our colleges and universities stack up against others across the country?
Every fall, U.S. News & World Report puts out its Best Colleges rankings, and the latest list gives us a good look at how schools in the Capital Region stack up. With more than 1,700 colleges evaluated, it is always interesting to see which local campuses stand out.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy continues to make a name for itself, coming in at number 64 in the national rankings. RPI also earned recognition for its engineering programs, landing at number 35 on that list, and was highlighted among Best Value Schools.
