SMVDU and SPIC MACAY Jointly Host Padma Vibhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra at Katra

The Board of Cultural Activities (BCA), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), in association with SPIC MACAY, organized a captivating Hindustani classical vocal recital by Padma Vibhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra and his son Pt. Swaransh Mishra at the Matrika Auditorium, SMVDU. The maestros were accompanied by Shri Harnam Singh on Tabla and Dr. Harminder Singh on Harmonium.

The father-son duo enthralled the audience with their musical brilliance, commencing the evening with Raag Malhaar and later rendering devotional bhajans dedicated to Mata Jagdamba.
