ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Brian Green, the new District Attorney for Monroe County, will be sworn in on Tuesday morning.

Green was appointed to be the county's DA by Governor Hochul after Sandra Doorley retired last August. She had worked for the DA's office for over 30 years. She announced her retirement following recommendations of a public censure over a controversial traffic stop.

Prior to the appointment, Green was an Irondequoit judge and a Senior Deputy County Attorney. He was also an adjunct professor at MCC and a deputy chief in the Major Felony Bureau of the DA's Office.

Green will be taking the oath of office on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Watts Conference Hall.
