Chennai: India’s rapidly changing dietary patterns are driving alarming increases in diabetes and obesity , according to the latest findings from the Indian Council of Medical Research-India Diabetes (ICMR-INDIAB) study, published in Nature Medicine.
The cross-sectional survey, conducted in collaboration with the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), analyzed a nationally representative sample of 1,21,077 adults across urban and rural areas of 36 states, union territories, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
