Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has established its first overseas coordination centre in Birmingham, England, to cater to the needs and demands of Sikh Sangat abroad. The centre’s establishment is the result of efforts by SGPC member Gurinder Singh Bawa and Harjinder Kaur, a member of the executive committee, with support from the Birmingham-based Khalsa Panth Academy.

The inauguration ceremony was held with panthic traditions, attended by prominent personalities, including Mahinder Singh, head of Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha Birmingham, and SGPC chief secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami participated online, stating that the centre was opened in response to demands from the overseas Sikh community.
