BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Debrandon Charles, 27, from Brenham was shot and killed on Monday morning outside of an apartment building on Jaguar Drive. His family is now mourning the son, father, and brother they lost.

“[They] took him away from his family: His daughter, his momma, his other siblings. It’s wrong,” said Charles’ cousin Belina.

Belina got a call Monday morning with news that her cousin had been shot.

“He was so respectful. He didn’t bother [anybody]. I got a phone call, and for this to happen,” she described. “I just [saw] him like maybe a couple of weeks ago. He came and gave me a hug and everything.”
