Karkala, Sep 30: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the career guidance & placement cell of MPM Government First Grade College, Karkala, in association with Magic Bus India Foundation, Bengaluru, organised a two-day employability skill training programme on 29 and 30 September 2025.

The inaugural session was presided over by principal Dr Suresh Rai K, who emphasised the importance of skill-based training for students to succeed in competitive job markets. The programme was coordinated by Jyothi L Janne, associate professor of Commerce, and Dr Subrahmanya K. C., coordinator of the Career Guidance & Placement Cell.
