WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Monday was National Coffee Day, but if you missed out on getting a cup of joe - Wednesday is National Coffee with a Cop Day.
The day began back in 2016 part of National Community Policing week; now it’s held on the first Wednesday of October to better enhance the relationship between the community and law enforcement.
The Waco Police Department and other agencies will be at Black Rifle Coffee Company on Creekview Drive from 9:00 till 11:00 in the morning on Wednesday.
There, folks can grab their coffee and engage in conversation about pretty much any topic they’d like to discuss. We’re told Waco Police hold events like this throughout the year, and always look forward to taking part nationally.
