(NewsNation) — Kelly Clarkson returned to her talk show Monday, the first time since ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died of cancer.
Blackstock died on Aug. 7 at the age of 48 of melanoma, a form of skin cancer. He had two children with Clarkson: daughter River, 10, and son Remy, 9.
"The Kelly Clarkson Show" began its seventh season as normal Monday, with the host not addressing Blackstock's death.
Actress Margot Robbie and actor Colin Farrell both appeared on the show as well as heroes from the Texas floods in July. • In this Jan. 28, 2018 file photo shows Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock at the 60th annual Grammy Awards in New York.
