Former senator and diplomat Jeff Flake urged his fellow Republicans to do better after President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), calling Democrats “just a bunch of woke pieces of s**t.”

“C’mon, fellow Republicans, we’re better than this,” Flake posted to X along with a screenshot from CNN featuring Schumer in the AI video , as well as Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who is sporting a sombrero and a mustache.

Flake previously served as a senator from Arizona and an ambassador under former President Joe Biden . He’s long been a vocal critic of Trump.
