Vice President JD Vance told reporters that he thinks "we're headed to a shutdown" after top Democrats and Republicans failed to reach an agreement during their meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday (September 29).
“I think we’re headed to a shutdown because the Democrats won’t do the right thing,” Vance said via CNBC with less than two days before a shutdown will take place in the absence of a funding deal.
