The Canadian airline WestJet continues to expand its operations. The airline made an "unidentified order" just a couple of months ago. It was later revealed to be the purchase of 67 Boeing jets, the largest order book of any Canadian airline.
Although WestJet has decreased flights to the U.S., it is looking to Europe and other warm destinations as it continues to expand routes around the world.
Despite the changing travel trend in the United States, WestJet still offers several flights to the United States. However, in June, several U.S. passengers were part of a cybersecurity breach.
WestJet reassured passengers that it was prepared for this type of cybersecurity breach and has since implemented new precautionary measures to prevent it from happening again.
