The first trailer for Netflix's People We Meet On Vacation has been released. Directed by Brett Haley, People We Meet On Vacation adapts Emily Henry's 2021 New York Times bestseller. The story follows Poppy and Alex, best friends for a decade, who, despite living in different cities, spend every summer together and slowly begin to question their relationship.

This adaptation brings together a strong ensemble. Emily Bader stars as Poppy Wright, and Tom Blyth plays Alex Nilsen, with Sarah Catherine Hook, Lucien Laviscount, Miles Heizer, Jameela Jamil, Tommy Do, Lukas Gage, Alice Lee, Molly Shannon, and Alan Ruck completing the cast. People We Meet on Vacation premieres on Netflix on January 9, 2026.
