A year after the owners of North Park’s popular Cori Trattoria Pastificio announced plans for a second restaurant in La Jolla, the new Dora Ristorante is getting ready to open its doors.

Owners Accursio Lota and his wife, Corinne Goria, say their goal is to open Dora sometime around the first week of November.

That would tie their new Southern Italian coastal cuisine restaurant’s debut to the opening of La Jolla Playhouse’s world premiere musical “Working Girl,” since Dora is located just a few hundred feet away from the Playhouse campus in UC San Diego’s new Theatre District Living and Learning Neighborhood.

As part of a partnership with La Jolla Playhouse, the Dora team will design prix-fixe menus and cocktails that are themed to each production in the Playhouse’s future seasons. For
