Ahead of the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Wednesday, local advocates and law enforcement will share updated statistics at a news conference at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office headquarters.

A survivor will also share their story of experiencing domestic violence first hand.
