Florida’s first presidential library cleared a procedural hurdle Tuesday, with the Cabinet on board with Gov. Ron DeSantis ‘ proposal to place it in Miami-Dade .

A 2.63-acre parcel in Miami-Dade County adjacent to the Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College will be reserved for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library .

The college has approved the conveyance of the land, which overlooks Biscayne Bay, for the effort.

But some conditions apply.

The Trump Presidential Library Foundation must relocate within five years, or the state can revoke the land grant.
