Srinagar, Sep 30: MLA Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar who is also Chairman of the Committee on Public Sector Undertakings, chaired a meeting today to discuss steps strengthening Jammu and Kashmir’s health infrastructure and accountability in the Health and Medical Education Department.

MLAs Saifullah Mir, Saif Ud Din Bhat, Ali Mohammad Dar, Tanvir Sadiq, Showkat Hussain Ganai, Mir Mohammad Fayaz, and Ranbir Singh Pathania attended as committee members, focusing on public health advancements.

The committee reviewed ongoing projects, emphasized improving healthcare access in rural areas, and addressed resource allocation to enhance medical facilities, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the department’s operations for better public health outcomes.
