WASHINGTON D.C. – Federal officials have announced the release of updated data and an interactive mapping tool to help organizations determine area eligibility for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.

The Area Eligibility mapper has been updated to reflect new special tabulation data from the American Community Survey (ACS), which the United States Census Bureau provides. This annual update is crucial for organizations and sponsors planning to participate in the child nutrition programs.

The updated resource aligns with USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins’ stated commitment to “provide timely and satisfactory customer service.”
