SRINAGAR : Police in Sopore have detained four habitual narcotics offenders under the stringent Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PIT NDPS). Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The offenders were identified as Owais Bashir Shikari of Sher Colony Sopore, Saraj-u-Din Parray of Parraypora Hadipora, Waseem Ahmad Mir of Aadipora Sopore, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Dhobi of Dangiwacha Rafiabad. According to officials, all four have a consistent record of involvement in drug trafficking despite previous arrests and preventive measures.

Following the preparation of detailed dossiers and approval from the competent authority, detention orders were executed, and the accused were shifted to District Jail Poonch and Central Jail Kot-Balwal.
