Maharashtra, October 1, 2025 – The state continues to experience rainfall after intermittent showers over the past two days, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted an increase in rainfall intensity today. Light to moderate rain is expected across several districts, while some areas may witness thunderstorms and strong winds. Farmers and residents have been advised to exercise caution.

Moderate rainfall is likely in all districts of Konkan. Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg are expected to have cloudy skies with moderate showers. However, no official alert has been issued for this region.
