M4 closure warning as new bridge works continue View 2 Images

Drivers have been issued with a new warning over the upcoming M4 closure to allow for the installation of Badminton Road Bridge. National Highways said that it is warning road users that the date is changing.

The M4 will now be closed in both directions between junctions 18 for Bath and 19 for the M32 from 7pm on Friday, October 24 until 6am on Monday, October 27. This is to allow for steel beams for the new A432 Badminton Road Bridge to be lifted into place.

The change of date is needed due to a delay in the production of the bridge beams.
