Star actor Nicole Kidman and country music singer Keith Urban have separated after being married for nearly 20 years, according to multiple media reports.

Urban moved out of the family home and into his own place in Nashville after the split occurred during the summer, according to TMZ.

Celebrity watchers were caught by surprise since the couple presented a united front to the public since their marriage in 2006. Kidman and Urban share two children who are teens, according to TMZ.

Public Facebook and Instagram pages for Kidman and Urban are silent about the separation. Photos of the couple in happy times have not been removed from Kidman’s social media accounts.
