DEXTER, N.Y. (WWTI) - A person has been charged in connection to last Thursday's assault on the village of Dexter.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, they charged a person with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault.
The sheriff's office is not releasing the identity of the suspect. However, they did offer an update on the victim.
They said a 64-year-old female victim received head, neck and facial injuries during the incident. She has since been released from the hospital.
