India’s Para Javelin athlete Sunit Antil has won his third consecutive gold medal in the world athletics championships as he was able to clinch the F64 class title today.

Adding to his already illustrious sports career in which he has already won gold in 2023 and 2024 editions, the 27-year-old also has two Paralympic gold medals that he won in the 2021 Tokyo and 2024 Paris. He is also the reigning Asian Paralympic Games champion.

Today, his winning throw stood at 71.37 meters came in his fifth attempt. He broke his own championship record of 70.83 set in the year 2023.

India’s Sandip Sargar also won a gold medal in the Men’s javelin throw in F44 category with a throw of 62.82 meters today. Sandip Chaudhary, another athlete in the same category, also won silver with a throw of 62.67 mete
