Creators of "The Simpsons" have given fans something to look forward to in 2027.

"Woohoo! The Simpsons are coming to theaters with an all-new movie on July 23, 2027!" 20th Century Studios, Disney and "The Simpsons," collectively said on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The movie is expected to be released in 2027; it will be a sequel to "The Simpsons Movie," released in 2007. The original movie is available to stream on Hulu + Live TV and Disney+ — in addition to 37 seasons of "The Simpsons" TV series that began in 1989.
