The union is not expecting any significant developments in the strike at Canada Post.

The company claims CUPW’s demands would add an extra $700-million a year to its operating costs.
The House of Commons does not resume sitting until tomorrow, so Union President Mike McDonald doesn’t expect any drastic developments today.
He’s not aware of any negotiations planned.
Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu hasn’t ruled out federal intervention to end the latest Canada Post strike.
But she’s urging the company to quickly table an offer to the union of striking postal workers and wants the union to consider any proposal seriously.
