Pumpkin patches usually mean dirt under your boots and gourds by the bushel, but Sleepy Hollow is putting a different spin on the autumn staple. From October 2–5, Kingsland Point Park will host the annual Glass Pumpkin Patch , an art-meets-seasonal festival that’s just an hour from New York City.
The event transforms the Hudson River green space into a glowing field of glass. Hundreds of pumpkins—each hand-blown by artists from Gregory Tomb Glassblowing Studio and the Adirondack Glassblowing Studio —will be on display and for sale. The pieces range from tiny, jewel-like table toppers to large, sculptural gourds with curling stems and molten colors. Collectors come early to scoop up their favorites and returning visitors often treat the patch like a yearly treasure hunt.
