INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was pronounced dead and another was injured after a reported shooting on the near west side of Indianapolis, according to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

At around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers with IMPD's Southwest District responded to a reported shooting in the 1300 block of N Concord Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, a man was located with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. IMPD officials stated that the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Later on Tuesday afternoon, a person walked into a local hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. The department stated that the person is also believed to have been shot during the incident in the 1300 block of N Concord Street.
