A dozen people were reportedly rescued by a luxury cruise liner which diverted its course to avoid a storm. Royal Caribbean Cruise's Enchantment of the Seas changed direction on September 28 to dodge hurricane Humberto and tropical storm Melda.
The massive ship came across a makeshift raft with approximately 12 people on board while on its way from Tampa, Florida to Costa Maya, Mexico. Cruise ship staff stopped to investigate the situation and a rescue craft was deployed.
