An 11-year-old Pennsylvania girl is recovering after she was allegedly stabbed by her father as she tried to protect her mother from him.

The girl's father, Richard Cody Hall, is accused of going on a stabbing spree at his estranged wife's Redstone Township, Pa. home on Sunday, Sept. 28, injuring several people, the Pennsylvania State Police and Fayette County District Attorney Michael Aubele said, according to CBS News , WPXI and the Observer-Reporter .
