EAST TAWAS – National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), Oscoda Chapter 1955, will be participating in a local Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m.

Participants will meet behind Mooney’s Ben Franklin store at 138 Newman St., East Tawas.

The Alzheimer’s Association ( alz.org ) plays a vital role in working to slow and eventually eradicate Alzheimer’s and dementia. The association also provides support to caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Association is instrumental in providing care, support, research, and advocacy for those who are impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease.

All donations received during the NARFE Oscoda Chapter Walk will go towards Alzheimer’s Research.
