Greta Gerwig is about to bring her vision of C.S. Lewis ' The Chronicles of Narnia fantasy novels to the screen, courtesy of Netflix. Nearly twenty years ago, three of Lewis' novels were adapted for the big screen, with British actor Ben Barnes front and center as Narnia's rightful ruler, Prince Caspian. Will Gerwig's films feature a new Prince Caspian? Barnes discussed the prospect at a panel at FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention moderated by Collider's Maggie Lovitt .

Barnes was sanguine about a new Prince Caspian, noting that he wasn't the first, and was happy not to be the last:
