ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis is getting a new gateway to Europe.

Sources told First Alert 4 that British Airways will begin nonstop service from Lambert International to London, with four flights a week. The new route comes as some airlines have scaled back service in St. Louis.

First Alert 4 has obtained a press event notice for a major announcement, organized by the St. Louis Partnership and World Trade Center St. Louis.

The guest list includes St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page, St. Louis City Mayor Cara Spencer and Ambassador Kevin O’Malley, chairman of the St. Louis County Port Authority, among others.
